5 Ways to Beat Bloating

Everyone experiences that uncomfortable feeling of bloating every now and then. Bloating can be caused by diet particularly if someone eats allot of gas producing foods like dark leafy vegetables, raw cauliflower and broccoli or beans. It can also be caused by water retention and pms but the main causes of bloating is food that doesn’t get properly absorbed. Here are 5 things that can help with the problem:

  1. Increase potassium – eat more potassium rich foods like asparagus, citrus fruits, melon, tomatoes
  2. Exercise – get moving to keep everything inside moving
  3. Drink plenty of fluids – especially non-carbonated water
  4. Tea – drink ginger and peppermint tea
  5. Don’t talk and chew at the same time – this causes you to swallow air, which causes more gas
